Having played with The Flying Burrito Brothers, Manassas, The Eagles, Dolly Parton, Bob Dylan, Gram Parsons and the Rolling Stones to name but a few, maestro of the pedal/lap steel, dobro and guitar, Al Perkins is steppin' out with his own band Big Dog 3.
Band members are Brady Blade, the power on drums (Patty Griffin, Steve Earle, Dave Matthews) and Chris Donohue, the rhythm on bass guitar (Allison Moorer, Rodney Crowell, Buddy Miller). All three are of course present and former Emmylou Harris band members.
They will be showcasing songs from their brand new CD which will be a mix of old favourites Perkins appeared on originally and some brand new songs written especially for the album.
