As their name implies, Delta Echoes play 1930s Delta blues and early string band / jug band music, plus an eclectic mix of Western swing, early hot Hawaiian music and hokum, which the Oxford English Dictionary describes as 'a blend of hocus-pocus and bunkum, designed to make a sentimental or melodramatic appeal to an audience'.
