Big Blues Band

You play like I did when I was young’ - BB King
One of the 50 Greatest Blues Guitarists of all Time’ - Guitarist magazine

American blues guitar master and big band leader Otis Grand has been called ‘the gentle giant of the blues’, in his quest to bring the blues into the 21st century and make it fun again with the hottest blues party in town.

Officially launching his brand new ‘Back To ‘65’ CD, Otis pays due homage to the blues greats, but adds his own contemporary spin, to bring a new blues style that includes BB, Albert & Freddie King alongside Buddy Guy, SRV, Joe Louis Walker, and newer talents such as Anson Fundergerg, Duke Robbilard & Ronnie Earl!

Otis Grand has pioneered the big band blues sound over the last few years, starting with a West Coast R&B band, moving into his present guitar led Big City style Blues.

For the past ten years Otis has received a number of Awards including UK BLUES GUITARIST OF THE YEAR ( 1990- 96), Best Blues Albums, Best Band, and was nominated for two awards at the prestigious W.C. HANDY BLUES Awards in Memphis, Tenn.

With some brilliant guitar work, plenty of swing from his pumping horn section and a special guest singer, the blues never was so much fun.
