An inspired American
roots rock band in the Neil Young vein
Celebrating 26 years on the boards, Roadhouse was formed in 1991 by guitarist/vocalist and songwriter, Gary Boner, and the hard driving rhythm section of bassist Bill Hobley and drummer Roger Hunt.
Drawing on an eclectic mix of influences from Lynyrd Skynyrd to Creedence Clearwater Revival, the band has developed a unique sound. In the words of a recent Blues Matters review: "They veer towards the rocky side of the Blues, but are clearly Blues based and play in a punchy style with musicianship and original songs of the highest quality". Roadhouse is a merger of experienced Blues/Rock musicians and 3 dynamic, young female vocalists.
Aside from headlining 50 European blues festivals they have also guested with the likes of Walter Trout and Joe Bonamassa..
