This was a timely opportunity to interview the fast rising star of the rock blues scene, as he has just brought together a new band to tour in support of his best yet "Upside Down" album on Ruf. Aynsley is a "straight to the vein" guitarist who delivers steely licks, powerful and fluid runs, and cranks out some tough sounding blues tinged melodic rock of the highest order. In between that he explores a far more delicate side of things on his acoustic, showing what a great player he is. This was his second visit to the BoomBoom Club, on what turned out to be a cracking show.
